A.B.S. trade fair participation at FAKUMA 2021
Fewer exhibitors and visitors than before Corona, but more than expected, celebrated at the 27th Fakuma that people can see and meet each other again. The international trade fair for plastics processing took place in Friedrichshafen from October 12th to 16th, 2021. The focus was very contemporary on the topics of sustainability, circular economy and recycling.
In addition to exhibitors demonstrating thermoforming, injection molding, extrusion technology and 3D printing, A.B.S. Silo and conveyor systems are an important player at the trade fair. The A.B.S. from Osterburken is one of the specialists in the production of flexible silos made of high-strength high-tech fabrics, silo systems, containers and discharge aids for all bulk and piece goods. This means plastics can be stored quickly, efficiently and safely with an optimal price/performance ratio. The design and equipment in terms of outlet diameter, cone bevel and geometry fit the A.B.S. exactly the special plastic storage product and also plans complex systems for industry.
One of the managing directors of A.B.S., Matthias Petzl, is pleased that his expectations of the restart of Fakuma were exceeded. It is only natural that exhibitors and trade visitors are cautious after two years of the pandemic. Nevertheless, more participants than expected dared to go to the exhibition halls on Lake Constance. A total of 1,470 exhibitors from 39 countries showed their new and proven products on 85,000 square meters. Some companies, whose desire for more exhibition space has always been thwarted by a lack of space, were able to increase their space thanks to the smaller number of exhibitors. And Matthias Petzl is also happy about the many good conversations and contacts that were now possible.
