Mathias and Lukas Berberich from Hardheim-Ruetschdorf (Neckar-Odenwald district) have done it: With their construction project for a new fattening stable, which is funded through the European Innovation Partnership (EIP), they are achieving an improvement in animal welfare and thus greater acceptance through more comfort in the stable among consumers.

They compensate for the high costs by, for example, initially keeping the old stable in operation with the aim of converting it as quickly as possible. And so that everything fits, the Berberich family decided on 4 feed silos measuring 1.90 x 1.90 x 5.0 m and an elevated steel frame.
