Vaulted cellar in the old post office building in Bad Urach
“The former post office building was completely renovated and expanded into the current tourism center. A truly successful measure. As the planning engineering office TGA, we recommended the building owner to install the A.B.S. silos for the following reasons. In terms of possible dimensions, the fabric silos could be optimally adapted to the structural conditions of the existing vaulted cellar. The individual design options made it possible to achieve the largest possible storage volume. Pellet storage in a vaulted cellar, with some natural flooring, had to be carried out in such a way that moisture could not affect the stored goods. This requirement was met by the A.B.S. silos. In addition, our cramped structural conditions in the existing building required a system that could be easily inserted through the narrow corridors and doors. This requirement could also be met with the trough silo from A.B.S. can be fulfilled without any problems.
